- provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
- provide assistance and support to company personnel
- research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
- constantly update job knowledge
- assist internal and external audit project
- maintain general ledger and perform daily bank reconciliation duties
- prepare and record journal entries to financial statements
- other duties as assigned
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in finance or accounting
- Yardi software experience
- minimum of one-year accounts payable experience and accounting knowledge
- tracking expenses, understanding the chart of accounts, attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, analyzing information, accounting, vendor relationships, PC proficiency, data entry skills, general math skills
