We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Con, Ontario. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial tasks, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and invoice processing. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of accounting functions within the wood and furniture manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:

• Perform bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial data management.
• Match purchase orders with invoices to maintain proper documentation.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
• Generate financial and operational reports as needed by the team.
• Conduct checks and balances to verify the accuracy of financial information.
• Organize and maintain accounting records for easy access and review.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies or missing information.
• Assist with various accounting operations to support department needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation and processing accounts payable and receivable.
• Strong skills in billing, data entry, and invoice processing.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data handling.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams.
• Familiarity with the wood and furniture manufacturing industry is an asset.
