Our client in Oakville is looking to hire a Full Time Accounting Clerk to join their accounting team!
Role: Accounting Clerk
Salary: Up to 60 K
Employment type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

  • Customer Service - Answer telephones; assist in customer inquiries; enter orders.
  • AP - Process vendor invoices and reconcile them against the appropriate load sheet. Process and issue payments to vendors and brokers. Field vendor inquiries.
  • AR - Create and process outgoing invoicing, collect, process, and reconcile payments. Collection calls as required.
  • GL - General journal postings, account reconciliation and balance review. Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and details.
  • Provide administrative support to all departmental members.
  • Copy, scan and maintain organized filing system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
A college or university degree with a focus on accounting or finance
3 years' work experience in Accounting/Finance role.
Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
Strong Microsoft Office skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information, whether it's information for the company or for individuals
