Job Description

A non-profit organization working in the health field for several decades, our client is looking for someone to act as a bookkeeper for one day a week. This person will be responsible for the sound financial management and budget of the organization.

Tasks:
-Performs the accounting of the organization.
-Prepares monthly financial statements and reports to the Board.
-Prepares annual financial statements, in collaboration with the accountant.
-Prepares annual budget estimates.
-Ensures purchases.
-Drafts and supervises grant and special project applications.
-Takes care of the financial aspect of the contractual needs identified by the managers of the components.
-Takes care of the travel budget.
-Responsible for hiring people employed as contractors.
-Responsible for making a prior agreement for any expenses incurred by the person employed in the course of his/her work.
-Approves the reimbursement forms and ensures that theyare signedby the employee making the claim.
-Support with administrative tasks.

Profile:
-1 to 3 years of experience in the field of accounting
-Mastery of Acomba Sky Software (asset)
-DEC or DES desired
