Job Description

We are offering a long-term, part-time, onsite contract opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you'll be responsible for handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate data entry and efficient invoice processing. We are seeking a candidate who can commit to this position on a long-term basis.Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision
• Inputting orders and linking them to the relevant purchase orders
• Ensuring all invoices are properly documented and scanned
• Utilizing the Sage 300 system for recording and management of transactions
• Keeping a well-organized record of payment backups
• Handling a high volume of transactions effectively
• Maintaining and updating customer credit records
• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Performing 3-way matching for order entry and invoice processing.

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an accounting clerk role or similar position
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Demonstrated skills in data entry with high accuracy
• Experience in invoice processing and order entry
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets and managing data
• Familiarity with 3 Way Matching in accounting procedures
• Experience in paper filing and document management
• Ability to scan documents effectively and maintain digital records
• Knowledge of Sage 300 software for accounting tasks
