Intertek is currently seeking the ideal individual who is detail-oriented, diligent, that goes above and beyond, who is a problem solver. In this position you will be reporting to and supporting the Assistant Manager with various tasks. You will also be responsible for but not limited to assigned administrative/accounting projects from the Finance Team.

1. General Description of Responsibilities

Accounting Clerk has responsibility for providing effective and competent office support to the company in a safe, legal, and ethical manner. Set up new projects and project reporting. Develop good working relationship with Accounting and Project Management team. Cash application entries, A/P vouchers entry, process Travel Expenses, prepare cheque deposits and other accounting duties.

2. Specific Responsibilities

Set up Projects for each Business Area, consistently communicate with Project Managers and their assistants. Review project initiation form (PIF) to ensure information accuracy. Refer to information files to confirm correct rate and client setup. Input project information into software such as Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense and IBM Cognos reporting tool. Maintain client information files Distribute or file client consulting and confidentiality agreements Review and checks for accuracy of project information Address any queries or concerns from clients, project managers and administrative assistants Project Reporting Provide project reports in an excel format on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with respect to new projects Update project lists as required by each Business Area To work as a team and to provide additional support necessary for the efficiency of the department.

Here\'s what you\'ll need
- 3+ years\' experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions and duties.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task while adhering to tight deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy, organized
- Team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Solid relationship building - Customer Service skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications: Excel, Word

Work Term: Permanent, 37.5 hrs/week, Hybrid for now
