Robert Half has an open position for an Accounting Clerk to support the daily operations of a department. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a short-term contract / temporary position based in the London, Ontario area.How you will make an impact- Upload financial information to journals and ledgers- Square up discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required- Codify documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance- Compose statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources- Assist Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing- Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
- Billing experience preferred- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel- Accounts Payable (AP) experience required- Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)- General familiarity with QuickBooks- Data entry experience- Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation- Proven knowledge of Invoice Processing- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred- Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system- Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environmentRobert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
