We design, program-manage, fabricate, source, retro-fit, repair/service, and breakdown/recycle all types of packaging - metal, plastic, foam, bags, bulk/standard bins and a variety of custom dunnage. Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounting Associate to join our finance team within a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of a variety of accounting and finance functions with PakFab. This position will interact closely with other internal team members. This position reports to the Controller or their designate.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports

Performing routine accounting activities such as maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of various accounting statements and financial reports

Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts

Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records

Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable

Processing invoices and ensuring timely payment

Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes

Ensuring compliance with organizational and financial regulations and policies

Assisting with tax return preparation

Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Stay up to date with changes in accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices

Performing administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Minimum 1-3 years general accounting experience

Business Degree or diploma or equivalent experience

Computer skills (Working knowledge):

Microsoft products

Visual Basic (Preferred not required)

ACH (Automated Clearing House)

Demonstrates effective project management skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Good verbal and written communication skills

Organizational skills

Problem analysis and problem-solving skills

Customer service skills

Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach

Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and cross-border environment

Work Conditions

Sitting for extended periods of time

Clean office environment with frequent visits to the production floor

Travel to off-site locations maybe be required

PPE required when entering the production area

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
