Title: Accounting Assistant ****TEMPORARY CONTRACT 2+ months***
Location: Waterloo **In-Office
Hourly Rate: $25-28/hr 2+ month contract

IMMEDIATE HIRE!!!!
Our client tin the health services industry is going through their year end and needing extra help! This will be a 2+ month contract to assist with workload and vacation coverages.

Reporting to the Controller, your duties would include but not be limited to:

Responsibilities would include:

  • general ledger reconciliations
  • trial balance review and balance sheet account reconciliations (cash, prepaids, loans, capital assets, a/r, a/p, etc)
  • Ability to do both A/R and A/P and full accounting cycle bookkeeping duties
  • reconcile bank accounts and intercompany transactions
  • other accounting clerk tasks as required
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in accounting
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel)
  • Must have QuickBooks Online proficiency
  • You have exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have good interpersonal skills, confidence, a willingness to learn, and professionalism.
  • You have the ability to work independently but also work effectively in a team environment
