Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.

Responsibilities

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records and databases. Conduct account reconciliation to verify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions. Prepare financial reports and assist in budget preparation and account analysis. Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

Proficiency in PBS DMS accounting software is preferred Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial services. Excellent math skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and account analysis. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Previous experience in an accounting role is required

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
