Position Overview



We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented

Accounting Assistant

to support our accounting and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and proficient in managing both financial data and front-office tasks. This is a great opportunity to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced industrial environment.

Accountabilities

Follow company processes and company Safe Work Procedures and Practices Work within company, customer, and other existing standards and regulations pertaining to their scope of work Reporting and rectifying of potential hazards, accidents, and near misses Assist with job costing reporting, reconciliations Assist with recurring monthly accruals and allocations Assist with analyzing income statements for correctness and report on variances Assist with accurate and timely reconciliation of all divisional balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliations Assist with preparation of monthly working papers to support the financial statements Assist with preparation of bank reporting Assistance with the preparation of the year-end financial reporting working papers Document and Data control Process and file purchase order Process and file work orders Credit Card reconciliations Set up Credit with customers Prepare job contracts Collect customer satisfaction reports, surveys, and questionnaires Daily reporting of functions Distribute and review quality assurance forms Receive, process, and file invoices Manage office supply orders Promote a healthy company culture built around our Mission, Vision, and Golden Rules

Requirements

Legally allowed to work in Canada and the province where work is being conducted. Accounting Degree working towards CPA or CA designation Technically inclined with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Ability to deal with change in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written skills in English High sense of urgency while maintain accuracy Provide a clean Criminal Record Check Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
