Job Description

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant you will be a vital part of our finance team, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, invoicing, and reconciliations. Your primary responsibility will be managing the company's payables, maintaining financial records, and collaborating with vendors. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for financial accuracy, this role might be an excellent fit for you.

What you will be doing:

Full cycle accounts payable:

o Process and enter invoices against purchase orders.


o Secure any required approvals.


o Work with vendors on month end for reconciliation.


o Prepare and execute payment through Quickbooks Online.

Full cycle accounts recievable:

o Generate and send client invoices.


o Issue monthly statements and send out for payment.


o Record payments received.

Analyze, reconcile and post Visa statements. Maintain organized financial records. Support internal teams with financial data. Process internal expense reports for credit cards and purchases for reimbursement. Provide assistance to financial controller. Assist in month end requirements. Other duties as assigned by The Company.

What we would like you to bring to the table:

Ability to work in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are essential. Previous accounting experience is required. Post-secondary education in a relevant field is considered an asset.
