Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting department. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our financial data and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Conduct data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy to maintain up-to-date financial records. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as needed. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tailwind for various accounting functions. Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions and audits.

Experience

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms is advantageous. Strong skills in account analysis, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and data entry are essential. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete individual tasks efficiently.
