JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner
- Proof changes, additions, and terminations paperwork
- Maintain employee payroll records
- Import hours for weekly payroll and responsible for transmission of payroll
- Monitor provisions of Collective Agreement/Unions. Prevailing Wage/SCA (as applicable) and initiate changes to payroll vendor, including dues, ect.
- Prepare T4\xe2\x80\x99s at year end
- Maintain vacation records
- Complete ROE\xe2\x80\x99s, WSIB forms and garnishments
- Perform reconciliation of deduction, weekly processing, monthly payroll reconciliations
- Repsond to employee inquiries, and management requests regarding payroll issues
- Minimum 3 years experience in a construction setting
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Jonas Construction Software use an asset
- Successful candidates will have a high attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to operate all office equipment

- Secondary School (preferred)
