Full Speed Builders is a growing construction company based in Perth, Ontario. We deliver high-quality commercial and industrial projects across Ontario. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts and Payroll Administrator to join our team.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, job costing, reconciliations, and supporting monthly and year-end tasks.
We are looking for someone who is confident in accounting processes, highly organized, and able to work independently while supporting our finance and management team.

This position is based onsite at our Perth, Ontario office.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Financial Administration
Process weekly payroll accurately (union and non-union)
Prepare T4s, ROEs, remittances, and payroll reports
Maintain employee payroll records and support payroll-related inquiries
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices
Process vendor invoices and reconcile statements
Support weekly payment runs
Prepare client invoices and progress billings
Monitor receivables and follow up when required
Accounting Support
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledgers
Support month-end closing tasks and financial reporting
Assist with year-end preparation, audit requests, and adjusting entries
Maintain accurate job costing, expense tracking, and budget reports
Prepare and submit HST remittances
Assist with WSIB reporting and compliance
Systems & Documentation
Maintain organized financial and project records
Complete financial data entry in Jonas Premier (training provided if needed)
Support management with financial documentation and internal reporting
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience
in accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping
Strong understanding of Canadian payroll processes, HST, and general accounting principles
Experience in construction, trades, or project-based accounting (asset)
Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (Jonas Premier or similar preferred)
Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Interest in a

Requirements:
Must be currently living in Canada and legally entitled to work in Canada
Must be local to Perth or within a reasonable commute
