Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Accounting and Finance Manager. This role is based in downtown Toronto, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Accounting and will be offered a competitive salary ranging from CND 85,000 to 100,000.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver financial statements and investor reports to senior management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Lead and manage the accounting team by setting objectives, providing mentorship, and delegating responsibilities effectively.
• Oversee daily fund cash management, including the development of daily cash flow projections and analyses.
• Handle fund debt facilities, encompassing extensions, draws, repayments, and comprehensive reporting.
• Coordinate and manage annual financial audits for multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software, with a preference for Sage.
• Exceptional written and analytical capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to perform independently and handle pressure effectively.
• Experience in commercial real estate accounting and/or finance is considered an asset.
