Accounting And Administrative Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting and Administrative Coordinator in our office in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the Controller, the A&A Coordinator will be responsible for supporting three key functions on the team: Accounting, Office Administration, and Human Resources with a core emphasis on Finance & Accounting tasks.

Job Duties:





Accounting


Daily bookkeeping Customer service support on accounting-related matters via e-mail Assist with annual budget preparation and audit Ownership over and maintenance of the account prefunding program General support of the Controller and assistance with various delegated accounting duties Facilitation and maintenance of service partner accounts including producing timely and accurate monthly reporting




Office Administration


Scheduling and organizing meetings, attending and note-taking as required Facilitating office-wide communication and announcements Planning and sourcing team supply needs such as miscellaneous cleaning supplies, coffee supplies, and office supplies Assist with office event planning as required Miscellaneous office tasks to support team members and office environment




Human Resources


Management and maintenance of basic Human Resource functions in BambooHR software including employee profiles and vacation tracking Assisting with onboarding and offboarding employees, including new computer set up, facilitating paperwork, and employee profile set up in BambooHR software

Experience and Education Desired:




2-3 years experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or other related field Experience in an in-office environment Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive matters Experience multi-tasking and managing of various needs at once Post-secondary education in a related field such as Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Office Administration



Position Details




Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 based on education and experience Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm * Work environment: In-office, limited remote work opportunities
