Our Group Insurance Department is seeking a detail oriented Accounting Analyst to join their team. The Accounting Analyst is responsible for preparing financial information related to group insurance. This includes monthly preparation of reports, reconciliations, and accruals for group insurance, as well as extracting quantitative information from the group administrative system to meet the needs of various users.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Preparation of financial information for group insurance
Validation and monitoring of commission payments
Prepare financial information for surveys and various reports
Acts as a support for tasks performed by the Group Insurance Accounting Clerk
Coordination of technological requests related to accounting
What you'll need
Qualifications
Oral and written communication (French and English);
College or university diploma in business administration (accounting, finance, etc.);
Knowledge of group insurance is an asset;
Skills in data analysis and problem-solving;
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required);
Adaptable to changes;
Strong ability to plan workload to meet deadlines;
