Position Overview
The Accounting Administrator will work closely with management and external accountants to manage bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts receivable/payable functions. This position is based in Winnipeg, with a semi-flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance
Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Payroll processing and payroll-related reporting
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Preparing financial records and reports for management and external accountants
Maintaining organized and accurate financial documentation
General administrative and accounting support as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting administration, or payroll
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Strong communication and professionalism
