Accounting Specialist

who will play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth and excellence.

You'll work directly with leadership to manage accounting functions, improve processes, and provide accurate, insightful reporting that drives better decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage

full-cycle accounting

, including A/P, A/R, and reconciliations Prepare

month-end and year-end reporting

, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain

financial records

, general ledgers, and documentation for audits Assist with

budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Support leadership with data for strategic and operational decisions Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and reporting accuracy Liaise with external accountants or auditors as needed Maintain compliance with CRA and corporate financial standards

Who You Are

You Bring:

3-5+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting Strong proficiency with

QuickBooks Online

, Excel/Google Sheets, and digital accounting tools Solid understanding of GAAP principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations Experience in

service-based or project-driven industries

(technology, construction, or trades is an asset) Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently with high accountability and attention to detail Professionalism, confidentiality, and a growth mindset
