P.R. Direct is a growing business delivering high-impact signage and promotional solutions to customers across the Maritimes. We're a small, agile team with big ambitions--and we're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative Coordinator to support our financial operations and help us scale with confidence.
Role Overview
This hybrid role combines accounting support with general administrative assistance. You'll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day financial tasks while also supporting the management team with scheduling, communications, and operational coordination. We're looking for someone dependable and detail-oriented who can take ownership of core financial responsibilities and provide hands-on administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties:
Post vendor bills, receipts and actively monitor accounts payable
Post customer receipts and actively monitor accounts receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
Assist with payroll and employee expense tracking
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare financial summaries and reports
Liaise with external accountants
Administrative Support:
Assist with scheduling, email management, and follow-ups
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take notes
Help organize digital files and internal documentation
Support vendor and client communications as needed
Contribute to internal process improvements and team coordination
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
3+ years of experience in administrative support
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office 365
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
Experience in a small business or startup environment is a plus
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
