About the Role



Working closely with the Controller, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial processes while helping maintain smooth day-to-day office operations. Key responsibilities include:


Accounting (80%)

Code and input vendor invoices into accounting and project management software accurately and on time. Monitor and reconcile bank and credit card transactions regularly. Prepare and process payment runs with guidance from the Controller. Assist in preparing client sales invoices and follow up on accounts receivable. Maintain communication with vendors regarding payments and account status. Prepare and maintain budget documents for media campaigns using advanced Excel skills. Assist in gathering and inputting data for financial and management reports. Support semi-monthly payroll preparation. Experience with cost accounting and/or professional services agencies is considered an asset.
Administrative Operations (20%)

Track and manage company assets assigned to staff (e.g., passes, laptops). Assist in preparing laptops for new hires. Support HR administrative tasks, including updating the HR Information System. Monitor and order office and kitchen supplies. Coordinate office maintenance and service requests. Provide general administrative support to the agency as needed.

Skills & Qualifications



We're looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You should be confident in your accounting skills and enjoy contributing to a collaborative office environment.


Key skills include:


Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Working knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage varying tasks.

This role may be offered as a four-day work week, Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm. Please specify your interest in this schedule in your application.


Note: The salary range advertised for this role is based on a 40-hour work week.
