Our client is a well-established accounting firm located in the East End of Montreal, offering a range of services to clients across various industries. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to a growing firm while developing their career in accounting.Job Responsibilities:- Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping for multiple clients, including the preparation and maintenance of financial records
- Post and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Process payroll
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow management
- Handle GST/QST filings and other tax-related responsibilities
- Assist with year-end preparation
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting files
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates
- Support clients with general accounting questions and bookkeeping needsRequirements:- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full cycle bookkeeping
- Experience with Caseware & Taxprep
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbalWhat We Offer:- Competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience
