We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in various accounting and Quick-books software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
Perform account reconciliations and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to assist in corporate finance decisions.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other tools for efficient bookkeeping and financial management.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate employee compensation.
Provide account analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and budgeting initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in accounting roles with a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Technicost and others
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and financial services.
Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, auditing, payroll processing, account analysis, and budgeting is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
