Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions to help maintain the financial health of the organization. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team utilizing leading accounting software and tools to deliver precise financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

Duties



Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft Perform bank reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with company policies Conduct auditing activities to verify compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including payroll processing and expense tracking Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Support financial services tasks including client invoicing, payment processing, and ledger management Collaborate with cross-functional teams on account reconciliation and financial reporting projects

Experience



Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft Strong background in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and auditing processes Experience in corporate finance functions including budgeting, account analysis, and payroll management Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows Knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance regulations is preferred Prior experience supporting financial services or working within a professional accounting environment is advantageous
This role requires a proactive individual with excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and be comfortable working with multiple accounting platforms to ensure accurate financial management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
