Markdom International (MI) has a proven history of producing world-class custom injection-molded products for the automotive and consumer goods industries. We have the capability to produce an extensive variety of products with our state-of-the-art in-house injection mold design and build capabilities, coupled with the latest injection molding process technologies.

Markdom is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as

Accountant

to Co-ordinate all accounting activities including Long-term projects, Sales, AR, AP, Government Programs, etc.

Report to the Controller.

Duties:

Accounting for long-term projects (tooling) withing different MI legal entities: expenses accumulation on the MI legal entities using CMS "Projects" module. Accounting for settlement with vendors using AI embedded CMS "AP" module. Communication with customers & vendors on settlements issues. Accounting for intercompany settlements. Maintain construction in progress & fixed asset schedules. Provide credit information to customers and suppliers as required. Ensure Regulators (CRA, Government Agency, etc.) invoices are paid in accordance with established procedures and terms. Process and administer all government & utility companies' programs documentation / Websites. Assisting in implementation and maintenance of CMS "Price list" module, including conversion of data from source documents (contracts). Assisting in automated & manual Sales invoices distribution using CMS. Participating in budgeting & forecasting process as required. Support interim & year-end procedures by producing working papers, analyses and reports for external auditors. Assist in administrative areas as required.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline or an accounting designation. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Practical accounting experience within the automotive industry (manufacturing environment preferred). Experience working with CMS or similar ERP systems.. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid general computer skills. "Big-4" audit companies experience is a plus. CPA designation (completed or in progress) will be an asset. Excellent communication, organizational ability, and attention to detail. Proven ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Strong accuracy in reporting, reconciliation, and documentation.

Pay: $62,159.86-$85,726.80 per year
