Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries. Prepare and file corporate, personal, and HST/GST returns in compliance with CRA requirements. Assist clients with inquiries, ensuring clear, professional, and timely communication. Support month-end and year-end closing processes and assist in preparing financial statements. Maintain accurate client records, ensuring confidentiality and operational integrity. Collaborate with management to improve internal accounting systems and workflows. Identify opportunities for process optimization and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation or working toward one is an asset). 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred. Solid understanding of Canadian tax rules and CRA procedures. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or similar). Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive -- with a genuine willingness to learn and grow.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
