Job Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, experience with both Sage and QuickBooks, and a proven track record of working within a publicly traded company environment.

Starting wage

is $80,000, with potential for a higher salary based on skill level and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and oversee financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including reconciliations and reporting Maintain vehicle and equipment acquisitions and disposals, purchased and leased, according to IFRS 16 Right-to-use standards. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for senior management Handle payroll processing and tax filings in compliance with all applicable laws Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience with both Sage and QuickBooks accounting software Experience working for a publicly traded company, with an understanding of corporate governance and compliance requirements Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
