Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions using industry-standard software. Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and others to record transactions and generate reports. Conduct auditing procedures to verify the accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies. Handle payroll processing accurately and efficiently using relevant systems. Support budgeting activities by analyzing financial data and preparing relevant reports. Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly. Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare financial statements as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial policies.

Requirements

Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, with familiarity using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes. Experience with corporate finance activities including budgeting, auditing, and financial reporting. Proficiency in account analysis, payroll management, and financial services operations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for highly experienced candidates.
