We are seeking a full-time General Accountant to assist with our Accounting Department Team.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable ( Full Cycle) and Collection Monitors for all accounts to ensure that Payments are paid on a timely basis, while following through with extended collection activities on outstanding accounts Perform intercompany accounting, including monthly confirmations with other Intercompany entities, reconciling accounts at period end, and resolving issues with inter-company departments. Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors along with verifying the accuracy and obtain approvals Manage payroll ( Hourly and Salary basis) and remittances. Perform account reconciliations including credit card reconciliations Prepare HST Return and electronic filings Prepare account analyses and financial reports upon request Familiar with our accounting software programs' including Salesforce, QuickBooks, Payworks would be an asset.
Requirements:

Preferred to have a CPA designation or in the final stages. Must have proficiency with Quickbooks. Must have payroll Experience at least 2 years. Have an advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel. You must be very comfortable learning new software and apps. Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills. You should be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask and prioritize work and have excellent customer service skills.
