We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Duties
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct auditing processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Assist in corporate finance activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other relevant tools for efficient bookkeeping.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on account analysis and financial performance.
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for easy retrieval and review.
Experience
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role within the financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including corporate finance, budgeting, and auditing.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, or similar tools is essential.
Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and bookkeeping is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
