Job Summary
We are seeking a self-motivated accountant who can work for multiple companies in our group. The qualified candidate must be able to learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Accountant
Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
General ledger maintenance including journal entries and accruals
General ledger reconciliations including bank accounts and credit cards
Payroll administration and reconciliation
Understanding, preparing and remitting HST, source deductions, and corporate tax
Preparing month-end reports and ad hoc reports for management
Year-end preparation
Coordinating with and assisting external tax accountants
Providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and cost control based on financial insights
Required experience & skills
3+years of experience in bookkeeping
Prior experience at law firms, real estate brokerages or property management companies will be considered as an asset
Strong organizational skills
Ability to self-start
Excellent computer skills and ability to adapt to new software systems
Ability to work on multiple companies
Attention to detail
Flexible language requirement:
French not required
