Job Description

Robert Half is working closely with a leading Real Estate client who is looking to hire an Accountant to their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position located in the North York area. As the Accountant you will be responsible.

- Full-cycle accounting including preparing journal entries, reconciliations for month-end processes
- Processing weekly/bi-weekly vendor payments via bank and wire transfers, EFTs and cheques
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparing and filing monthly HST remittances
- Preparing year-end financial statement working papers, assisting Corporate Accountants with external audit requests
- Processing employee expense reports on SAP Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Ad hoc special projects assigned by Sr. Accounting Manager

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years\' experience in a similar role
- Degree or Diploma in accounting. finance or related
- Strong full cycle accounting experience
- Intermediate Excel skills; pivot tables, vlookups etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
