REVEL Realty is a rapidly growing brokerage, and we are looking to fill the role of an Accountant who can join our team to support our growing network of agents across Ontario. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, positive, and highly organized individual with a minimum of 2 years in an accounting role. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and expertise in using deal transaction software, as they will be responsible for overseeing the brokerage's payout process. This high-visibility role requires excellent communication and customer service skills to ensure timely and accurate responses, efficient workflow, and follow-ups when needed.
The following is a list of the primary job duties and responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple corporations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank and general ledger reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statements, annual corporate reports, and support the budgeting process with leadership
Oversee payroll, tax remittances (HST, corporate, and year-end), and compliance with government reporting requirements
Coordinate and support year-end audits, including preparation of audit files and working papers
Maintain accounting records, documentation, and policies, identifying and correcting any discrepancies
Monitor rent collection across corporations, follow up on delinquencies, and prepare monthly project invoices
Produce and analyze budgets, reconciliations (bank, credit cards, inventory, GL), and capital expenditures to support financial decision-making
Support CAM and Realty Tax adjustments, tenant chargebacks, and rent roll updates.
Collaborate with internal teams on process improvements, special projects, and staff training
Attend necessary meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders on financial performance and efficiencies
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting
CPA designation is an asset
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in Google Workspace; ability to learn internal systems
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Customer service-oriented with experience managing client accounts
Real estate industry experience and familiarity with platforms like Lonewolf, BrokerBay, BackOffice, MLS, or similar software is preferred

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
