Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and supporting various financial functions within the organization. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a professional environment, utilizing advanced accounting software and tools to maintain financial integrity and compliance.

Duties



Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation. Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to verify financial data accuracy. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and others to record transactions and generate reports. Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including ledger entries, journal entries, and maintaining general ledgers. Support auditing activities by preparing documentation and assisting auditors during financial audits. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Process payroll using relevant payroll systems and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.

Skills



Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation procedures. Experience with bookkeeping, auditing, budgeting, and financial analysis. Familiarity with corporate finance principles and financial services industry standards. Ability to perform account analysis accurately and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within teams and across departments. Knowledge of payroll processing systems is a plus. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of maintaining high standards of accuracy while supporting the organization's financial health through meticulous recordkeeping and analysis.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
