Job Overview

We are an industrial hose and fitting supplier seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions. This role will have you working with Quickbooks accounting software and SOS inventory ERP software. The position is full-time and suitable for candidates committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. The title will be Accountant and Controller as you will be expected to oversee the inventory as it relates to the accounting.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections Perform Review level accounting Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial data Maintain and update bookkeeping records using accounting software QuickBooks Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and account analysis to support strategic decision-making Conduct auditing procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards Ability to audit inventory and maintain accurate inventory values Process payroll accurately and efficiently using appropriate payroll systems Prepare financial reports and statements for management review Support month-end and year-end closing activities Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy

Skills

Proven experience with accounting software QuickBooks Proven experience with inventory/ERP systems focused on distribution and have an assembly component to it. Proven experience with cross currency accounting Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation processes Familiarity with corporate finance principles, auditing practices, and financial services Ability to perform bank reconciliation and account analysis with precision Experience in payroll processing and budget management Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments Ability to adapt quickly to new accounting tools and systems

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
