We're currently seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Accountant to support our growing team and ensure financial accuracy.

Position Overview

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and supporting job costing and inventory controls. This role requires a solid understanding of both manufacturing and construction accounting processes, including cost tracking, project-based billing, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP or ASPE

Support month-end and year-end closings, journal entries, and reconciliations

Manage accounts payable and receivable functions

Track and reconcile job costs, project budgets, and WIP (Work-in-Progress) reports

Monitor and report on raw material and finished goods inventory for manufacturing

Process payroll and benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and insurance requirements

Collaborate with sales teams and operations to ensure accuracy in pricing and daily production reporting

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

, manufacturing, or both

Strong understanding of job costing, project accounting, and inventory management

Experience with accounting software such as Sage, or similar

Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills

CPA designation (or working toward) is an asset
