Reporting to the Controller, we are seeking an Accountant. You either are a recent CPA or have a minimum of three years of accounting experience, preferably in the Construction Industry. You must have superior verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task in a dynamic work environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel & Word is essential. Experience with Sage Accounting software is a definite asset.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Input payroll timecards and credit card receipts. Maintain accurate digital and hard copy filing systems. Utilize accounting software Sage, and other relevant tools for bookkeeping and financial management. Monitor office supplies and replenish as necessary. Collaborate with Project Managers with job costing details and preparation of change orders.

Assets for your Application

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Strong understanding of financial principles. Proficiency in Sage accounting software. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
