In addition, Allied Aviation owns and operates pipelines, tank farms, FBO's and other business activities such as ground handling, passenger services, aircraft de-icing, including food & hospitality services.

has a requirement for an

Accountant

Located at: Gander, Newfoundland & Labrador

This position will cover our Canadian Operations and be responsible for:

Overseeing Transactions (management of accounting staff & clerks, covering the daily Accounts Payable, Disbursements, Accounts Receivable, Payroll through a payroll service, bank reconciliations and General Ledger).

Assisting in the preparation and review of budget and variances).

Management & Compliance (General responsibilities for management of staff, Coordination of information and reporting to the Corporate Controller and VP for Canada.

The successful candidate should possess the following capabilities/experience:

A diploma in business administration with concentration in accounting with 3 - 5 years of experience. More years of experience is welcomed.

Knowledge of the aviation industry would be an asset

This is a hands on position and the candidate must be experienced with a divisional company accounting systems. Excel and computer skills are a must.

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
