Job Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in Ottawa, Ontario. This role falls within the accounting industry and is predominantly based in an office workplace.Responsibilities:
- Processing accounts payable in an accurate and timely manner
- Preparing invoices for clients and suppliers
- Ensuring all waybills are accurate and up-to-date
- Reconciling account balances and conducting account analysis
- Using accounting software systems to process credit card payments
- Handling overdue accounts receivable
- Assisting with the completion of month-end processes using Sage 50
- Utilizing Dynamics NAV and ERP Solutions for various accounting functions
- Maintaining accurate records using Adobe Acrobat.
- Applicant must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in Account Coding is essential.
- Must have experience with Accounting Software Systems.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Experience with Dynamics NAV is preferable.
- Knowledge of ERP Solutions is necessary.
- Ability to perform Account Analysis is crucial.
- Experience in managing Accounting Entries is desired.
- Proficiency in executing Accounting Functions is mandatory.
- Skills in Account Reconciliation are necessary.
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.
