Accountant
Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in full cycle accounting and experience with QBO, and XERO.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Utilize QBO and XERO for bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Conduct account reconciliations to verify balances and rectify discrepancies
- Manage payroll processes and ensure timely payments
- Assist in month and year end preparation
- Collaborate with the accounting team as required
Experience:
- Proven work experience as an Accountant, Accounting Clerk, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation, QBO, XERO, account reconciliation, payroll, month and year end procedures
- Experience with accounting software and financial auditing
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred
