Job Overview:

We are seeking an Accountant to join a progressive, privately owned group of companies with diverse operations. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, well organized, and able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment, including providing support for customer inquiries and incoming phone calls when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle accounting through to trial balance Manage month-end and year-end close processes Complete bank reconciliations Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Process a variety of daily sales reports Prepare and file government remittances Prepare financial statements Assist with answering incoming phone calls Provide support to customers as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in an intermediate accounting role Degree or diploma with a concentration in Accounting or Finance Completion of, or near completion of, CPA designation Strong understanding of ASPE and/or GAAP Proficient in Microsoft Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language Must have a vehicle to drive to/from work (limited public transit in our area) ONLY apply if you are legally allowed to work in Canada
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$67,000.00 per year
