Job Description

I'm looking for an accounting clerk for a temporary one-year part-time position (3 days a week) at an non-profit organisation near the Jean-talon market.
Your responsibilities :
Perform various tasks of the complete accounting cycle (billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other related tasks).
Manage customer invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash flow.
Handle bookkeeping, accounting reconciliations and accounting processes.
Verify customer documents and information.
Monitor invoicing, debt collection and supplier payments.
Prepare payroll for 4 people and tax returns (DAS).
Record monthly accounting transactions.
Manage tax returns (GST - QST).
Manage CNESST declarations
Help prepare annual closing and quarterly financial statements
Participate in AQIII events and support colleagues during activities
Any other related tasks
Profile required:
Relevant diploma (AEC, DEP or DEC in accounting)
At least 2 to 3 years' experience in accounting in Quebec and in a similar position
Good command of MS Office 365 (especially Excel)
Knowledge of accounting software, with knowledge of payroll appreciated (Employer D, an asset)
Knowledge of ZOHO BOOKS, ZOHO BILLING AND ZOHO CRM (an asset)
A very good command of spoken and written French and functional English in order to provide good customer service to members
Good organizational skills
Good analytical (data) and synthesis skills
Problem-solving, priority management, rigor and autonomy skills
