Manpower is currently seeking an Accountant for a 4-year contract opportunity with a major pipeline client located in Chatham, ON. This position is a hybrid role working in office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday while working remotely on Wednesday and Friday.

What will you be doing?
- Monthly journal entry preparation and posting in line with month end requirements
- Assist other finance teams as required- including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Corporate Accounting
- Perform corporate work including working papers and financial statements, income tax, GST and other returns, and client internal reporting.
- Provide reporting and information as required
- Coordinates the accounts receivable functions including the timely and accurate submittal of billing and entry into ERP system
- Ensure financial reporting controls are performed timely with proper evidence of review
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Relevant experience is an asset
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of proficiency with MS Excel. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members
