Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data across various accounting software platforms. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization through meticulous bookkeeping, auditing, and financial analysis. The successful applicant will have a strong background in corporate finance, payroll, and account management, with proficiency in leading accounting software tools.

Responsibilities



Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to maintain accurate financial records. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other systems for data entry and reporting. Conduct regular account reconciliation activities to verify data integrity across all accounts. Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing procedures to support organizational compliance. Process payroll accurately using relevant payroll systems and ensure adherence to applicable regulations. Prepare financial statements and reports for management review. Support internal controls by reviewing transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications



Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles, with familiarity in corporate finance environments. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms. Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account reconciliation processes. Experience with payroll processing and account analysis is highly desirable. Knowledge of auditing procedures and financial services regulations. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Relevant educational background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred. This position provides an essential role within our finance department by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data through expert accounting practices.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,397.51-$80,391.09 per year
