Job Description
Our dynamic client in Calgary is currently seeking an Accountant to join their hard-working team for a contract opportunity.
As the Accountant your day to day responsibilities of this contract role may include, but not be limited to:
- Bank and General Ledger reconciliations
- Matching and verifying transactions
- Processing payments
- Month-end financial statements and reports
- Monthly tax filing
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Get your career moving in the right direction as an Accountant with our client. The successful Accountant will possess the following:
- 2+ years of experience as a full-cycle Accountant or similar role
- Post-secondary education is Accounting or related field
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Sage X3 preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with a high volume of requests
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- First-rate problem-solving skills
- Available to start immediately
