About Us
VIP Motors is a fast-growing automotive dealership looking for an experienced Accountant to manage our daily financial operations. We need someone reliable, detail-oriented, and confident with dealership accounting.
Responsibilities
Handle full-cycle accounting: AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, month-end, and year-end support. Record and reconcile vehicle purchases, sales, inventory, and financing. Maintain accurate financial records using
QuickBooks
. Prepare financial reports, statements, and forecasts. Manage HST/GST filings and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Work with management, lenders, vendors, and internal staff. Support audits and maintain organized documentation.Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in a car dealership (Required).
Advanced QuickBooks skills (Required).
Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting). Solid understanding of automotive accounting: inventory, floor plans, financing paperwork, and sales processes. Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Accounting diploma/degree is an asset.Compensation
