Job Description
Robert Half Accounting & Contract is looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join a reputable organization in the Abbotsford, BC area. As an Intermediate Accountant, your duties will include preparing monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, providing month-end assistance and year-end audit support. This is a is a 100% onsite temporary- hire position.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Month-End Financial Procedures
- Processing, documenting and reconciling credit card transactions.
- Liaising with the senior team members to collect samples for the audit
- Monitoring and reconciliation of bank accounts
- Conducting transfers and journal entries of funds
- Ad hoc duties as required
- 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Journal entries and month end close experience preferred
- Practical knowledge of bank and account reconciliations
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
