JOB SUMMARY
Sparkle Solutions is looking for an
Accountant (1 year Contract
), who will be a key contributor to our Finance team. This role will report directly to the CFO regarding the monthly and daily accounting operations. The Accountant is responsible for all areas of general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working closely with the Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely customer revenue and commission reporting.
Daily revenue posting & reconciliation.
Prepare and generate reports for monthly customer reporting and any ad hoc reporting.
Reconciling bank accounts.
Record cash transactions in cashflow template
Execute accounts payable and payments via online Banking and other daily cash management.
Respond to customer commission payment queries.
Updating pre-authorized debit customer rental payment schedule
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred
2+ years of general accounting experience.
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with others
Strong attention to detail & analytical skills
Experience with Great Plains is an asset
