Account Representative, Infectious Diseases (Ontario)

Our Sales team support our customers by providing clinical information about products, educational information, clinical training programs and resources. We support healthcare providers and healthcare systems meet the goals of the patients in their communities.

Overview:

Reporting to the National Infectious Disease and Specialty Medicine Business Manager, the Infectious Disease and Specialty Medicine Account Representative is responsible for achieving annual sales and business objectives in Ontario for a portfolio of products. These objectives are achieved through partnering with physicians and other healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics, with the goal of changing prescribing behaviors, closing health care gaps and improving patient outcomes.

The incumbent will complete their tasks in a manner fully consistent with our companyaEUR(TM)s commitment to its Code of conduct, Our Values and Standards, policies, procedures, industry standards and all laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integrated account/customer plans leading to our company Infectious Disease and Specialized Medicine products adoption and achievement of sales and business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain contacts with key health care professionals to ensure optimal usage for our company's Infectious Disease and Specialty Medicine products.
  • Effectively demonstrates ownership for their assigned territory by fully understanding the health care environment, assessing, and identifying key customers and engaging in the right mix of activities in support of assigned products while ensuring a customer-focused approach.
  • Represents our company in a complex business environment that is constantly being shaped by competitive activities, government legislation, hospital practices and technological developments.
  • Work collaboratively with our company personnel (Peers, Marketing, Policy, Access, Medical Affairs) to appropriately address customer needs and ensure that our company delivers on its objective of becoming a trusted partner in improving patient health outcomes.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • University degree, healthcare management, business, or sciences
  • Previous sales experience
  • Knowledge of Human immunodeficiency virus and infectious disease markets is an asset
  • Ability to engage in complex discussions
  • Able to establish networks and influence through these networks
  • Strategic mindset for account planning and execution
  • Ability to analyze, plan, implement and monitor

Ces objectifs sont atteints grace a des partenariats avec des medecins et daEUR(TM)autres professionnels de la sante dans des hapitaux et des cliniques, dans le but de changer les comportements de prescription, de combler les lacunes en matiere de soins de sante et daEUR(TM)ameliorer les resultats pour les patients.

Le titulaire du poste doit remplir ses fonctions en toute conformite avec laEUR(TM)engagement de notre entreprise envers son code de conduite, ses valeurs et normes, ses politiques et procedures, les normes de laEUR(TM)industrie ainsi que laEUR(TM)ensemble des lois et reglements applicables.

Principales responsabilites :
  • Developper et mettre en A"uvre des plans clients/comptes integres menant a laEUR(TM)adoption des produits maladies infectieuses et medecine specialisee de notre entreprise et a la realisation des objectifs commerciaux et commerciaux.
  • a?tablir et maintenir des contacts avec les principaux professionnels de la sante afin daEUR(TM)assurer une utilisation optimale des produits de notre entreprise pour les maladies infectieuses et medecine specialisee .
  • Assumer efficacement ses responsabilites au sein du territoire qui lui est attribue en veillant a comprendre parfaitement laEUR(TM)environnement des soins de sante, en ciblant et en evaluant les clients cles et en mettant en A"uvre une variete daEUR(TM)activites pertinentes pour soutenir les produits assignes tout en adoptant une approche orientee vers le client.
  • Representer notre entreprise dans un environnement commercial complexe, constamment remodele par les activites de la concurrence, la legislation gouvernementale, les pratiques hospitalieres et les progres technologiques.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec le personnel de notre entreprise (Commercialisation, Politiques, Acces, Affaires medicales) pour repondre de maniere appropriee aux besoins des clients et faire en sorte que notre entreprise atteigne son objectif de devenir un partenaire de confiance en ameliorant les resultats chez les patients.
Competences/exigences
  • Diplame universitaire en gestion des soins de sante, en commerce ou en sciences.
  • Experience en vente.
  • Connaissance des marches du virus de l'immunodeficience humaine et des maladies infectieuses, un atout.
  • Capacite a participer a des discussions complexes.
